We are delighted you are considering joining Newry Mourne and Down Council on a Student Placement for the 2026/2027 academic year (up to 50 weeks).
We have placements available across a wide range of disciplines and all our placements provide an excellent opportunity to gain valuable practical experience and develop skills in a progressive, professional environment.

Job Summary
To undertake a range of general activities within the allocated department to ensure the effective delivery of a range of services, both internal and external.

Hours of work 
36 hours per week.

Salary 
Scale 1b, NJC spinal point 3-4, £24,796- £25,185 per annum based on a 36 hour week (pro-rata to hours worked)
It is Council policy to appoint at minimum salary scale point.
