Salary: £53,460 – £63,580 per annum. We also have an excellent pension scheme with an employer contribution of 19%. To lead and manage the Land and Property Acquisitions Team, ensuring the strategic identification, negotiation, and acquisition of land and property to support the Housing Executive’s development objectives. The postholder will drive delivery of housing supply targets, regeneration projects, and strategic land assembly in line with corporate priorities and statutory obligations and supports Housing Executive business delivery and our vision and values. The essential criteria are detailed in the Candidate Information Pack. Candidates must meet the following requirements: · 1. i) Candidates must hold a degree or an equivalent level qualification (Level 6*) and must also demonstrate 3 years’ relevant experience OR · ii) Can demonstrate equivalent continuing professional development/experiential learning and must demonstrate at least 5 years relevant experience (Please include dates) It will be the responsibility of the applicant to demonstrate equivalency. Relevancy will be determined with due regard to the duties and level of responsibilities set out in the job description for this role. *Refer to Qualifications Framework for equivalencies 2. For shortlisting, candidates must demonstrate significant relevant experience in four of the following five areas: · A) Proven experience in developing and delivering acquisition strategies aligned with land, property and regeneration objectives, including market analysis and achievement of acquisition targets. · B) Preparation of business cases, managing significant budgets, delivering value for money, and overseeing procurement and contract management. · C) Influencing and negotiating with senior stakeholders, including government departments, developers, and elected representatives, to secure strategic outcomes. · D) Design and implement robust governance frameworks, risk management strategies, and formal reporting to Executive Team, Board, and DfC. · E) Leading multidisciplinary teams, setting clear objectives, and driving performance to deliver complex programmes. · 3. Possess a current driving licence or have access to a form of transport that will permit the candidate to meet the requirements of the post in full.
