Disability Awarness Training Video

FORUM LAUNCHES MAJOR NEW TRAINING VIDEO

Forum member companies had indicated that there was a need for a training video that raised awareness of disability in the workplace, and that is what this video is all about. It is a tool that any employer or service provider can use to generate disability awareness among staff and help pave the way to a more inclusive and fair working environment.

Speaking at the launch, Dennis Licence, President of the Forum said, "I believe that this video sets out, in a provocative and thought-provoking way, some of the challenges that employers face in everyday business situations and how failure to act can have real business implications."

Other guest speakers at the launch were Anna Carragher, Controller of BBC, N.I., and Dr. Gerry Mulligan, Chairman of the N.I. Regional Steering Group for European Year of People with Disabilities, (EYPD).
