EFDNI Member Accreditation has been designed following requests by members in our Member Feedback Survey last year.  Our Board and staff have worked hard on developing this initiative and, in particular, the Member Audit which will underpin the application process.

The Member Audit has four main purposes:

  1. Providing members with a simple, easy to use tool to self-evaluate progress in implementing good disability practice, which will assist you to:
  2. Allowing members to apply for EFDNI Member Accreditation
  3. Providing information for EFDNI on the good practice implemented by members and areas where they need additional support
  4. Production of an anonymous report on member good practice so that members can benchmark their progress

Members will complete and forward the Member Audit for consideration by EFDNI.  We are delighted that Mr Daniel Fitzpatrick, Partner with Comerton and Hill Solicitors and legal adviser to EFDNI, has agreed to act as External Expert to ensure independence and validity of the accreditation process.

NB: Accreditation will last for a three year period.

Those applying for EFDNI Member Accreditation will be notified of whether they have achieved accreditation at our AGM in September 2012.  Details of the arrangements will be made available later.
